Meet Dr. Sarah Banks
I'm a Licensed Psychologist and BCBA who specializes in autism.
I opened Basecamp Pediatric Psychology because I wanted to support the community through compassionate, meaningful, and effective services.
About me professionally
I am a clinical provider who values timely, compassionate, and quality services. I have been a provider in Colorado since 2014. My specialty is in Autism Spectrum Disorder and co-occurring conditions. I consider the whole person when diagnosing and making recommendations. My goal is to give people valuable insight and to help them access services.
As a psychologist with a background in ABA and school psychology, I have a deep understanding of personalized assessment and intervention. I have multiple years of experience working with organizations that offer diagnostic and therapeutic services to neurodiverse children. I have coached, trained, and led clinicians and been a part of multidisciplinary teams. A current partnership I have is with The Learning Zone, a fully immersive AAC program providing research based academic instruction to students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex communication needs. I also serve on the Board of Directors of the Autism Society of Colorado. Advocacy is important to me, with past board experience including serving on Colorado's Mental Health Advisory Board.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two dogs (a Catahoula mix and a German Shorthaired Pointer). I also enjoy cycling, kayaking, finding new places to eat pizza, and catching up with friends. I train in Olympic Weightlifting four times a week for my mental and physical health. I am a native of McKinney, Texas. Colorado has been my home since 2014.
